What is Dechra Rewards?

Dechra Rewards is a semiannual loyalty program in which you earn a cumulative rebate for purchasing your favorite Dechra products.

Unlock new tiers of rebates along the way, and redeem your reward at the end of each six-month program.

Being a Dechra Rewards member allows you to participate in all other Dechra promotions, and there are no volume commitments.

Enroll

Enroll in the Dechra Rewards program within the Vetcove platform. An active Vetcove account with fully connected vendors is required.  Once enrolled, you are automatically registered to participate in subsequent programs.

Activate

An Activation Purchase is required for every six-month program. To activate your Dechra Rewards, you must purchase one unit of one of the designated brands, which vary per program. Program-specific Activation Brands can be found on the  Program Progress Page.

Match & Grow

You can earn rebates in 7 categories. Match your previous year's spend* within individual categories for 3% back, and grow with us to earn up to 15% back.

Eligibility and Enrollment

Who can sign up?

Any veterinary practice based in the 50 United States can take advantage of Dechra Rewards. Corporate-owned hospitals, universities, and accounts with separate pricing contracts are excluded from the program. Dechra reserves the right not to supply free goods and promotional items unless a Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship (VCPR) can be clearly demonstrated.

When do the program enrollment periods start and end?

Enrollment for H1 is open from November 2nd, 12:00 a.m. EDT, to May 1st, 11:59 p.m. EDT. Enrollment for H2 is open from May 2nd, 12:00 a.m. EDT, to November 1st, 11:59 p.m. EDT.

Does participating in Dechra Rewards disqualify me from participating in other promotions?

As long as your hospital is eligible for Dechra Rewards, the program functions as extra rewards in addition to any other Dechra discounts, rebates, or promotions. Participation in Dechra Rewards never makes you ineligible for any other manufacturer promotions.

What does it take to enroll?

When does the program start and end?

The H1 program runs from January 1st through June 30th. The H2 program runs from July 1st through December 31st.

Purchases

What purchases are eligible for the program?

All Dechra products are eligible for rebates with Dechra Rewards. The rewards program categorizes products as follows: Dental Care & Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Surgical Suite, Internal Medicine, Supplements, Pain Management, and Joint Therapy.

There are two bonus categories: Osphos® (clodronate injection) and Endocrinology.

What are bonus categories?

Endocrinology and Osphos® (clodronate injection) are the two bonus categories for earning rebates. After reaching your spending goals in the main product categories, you can unlock up to a 10% rebate for these categories. Spend goals will be tracked for you on your program progress page once you have enrolled.

Do my previous purchases count after I sign up?

For the H1 program, after enrollment is verified and an activation purchase is complete, all purchases made from January 1st to June 30th will count toward your rewards.

For the H2 program, after enrollment is verified and an activation purchase is complete, all purchases made from July 1st to December 31st will count toward your rewards.

Do I need to have online accounts with my distributors to participate?

Yes, online access to each distributor’s online purchasing portal is required. Online accounts are required to verify purchases and track real-time progress in the Dechra Rewards program.

Do I have to purchase through Vetcove to qualify?

No. You may continue to purchase Dechra products however you wish. Once your enrollment in Dechra Rewards has been verified, you have connected your vendor accounts, and your activation purchase has been completed, purchases made with qualifying vendors count towards the program, regardless of how the order is placed.

Which distributors will have their purchases counted toward Dechra Rewards?

All qualifying purchases of Dechra products placed with distributors will count towards reward progress. Supported distributors include MWI, Covetrus, Patterson, Midwest Veterinary Supply, First Veterinary Supply, Penn Veterinary Supply, Amatheon, Victor Medical, and Pharmsource. Note that sales from Covetrus Rx Management (Vet's First Choice), Vetsource, and any supplier account not connected with Vetcove will not count toward the rewards program.

What if I don't have online vendor accounts?

To be eligible for rewards, you must have online access to each distributor from which you order Dechra products. Requesting online access is quick and easy, and each distributor generally provides access within minutes or hours. You are welcome to contact your distributor representatives to request online access, or you may contact Vetcove for assistance.

Tracking and Earnings

Can I track my progress in the program?

Yes! You can track your progress in the program at any time on the Program Progress Page. New purchases will be logged the day after the order is confirmed and completed with the vendor.

Is the progress of Dechra Rewards always accurate?

Yes, Vetcove is the official record source for progress tracking and should always be accurate. Note that orders just placed may take up to 24 hours to be confirmed by the vendor and may not appear immediately as earned progress.

What if I think there's a progress discrepancy?

If you believe the progress shown does not match your records, please use the live chat or contact dechra@vetcove.com as soon as possible, and we will look into it for you.

How do I see my final earned rewards?

There will be a verification and settlement period at the program's conclusion (June 30th for H1; December 31st for H2). Shortly thereafter, rewards will be confirmed within your holding account on Vetcove, which you can view by clicking the pink cash back button on the header bar.

Do I need to redeem my rewards right away?

No, you can choose to redeem your rewards at your convenience. Once earned, rewards do not expire and may be redeemed at any time.

How are rewards redeemed?

Earned rewards can be redeemed in numerous ways, such as checks or gift cards. You will have the choice of how and when to receive rewards.
